Maurizio Carbone is from Varese, Italy, 20 minutes from Milano and Como Lake. Having worked at this restaurant since 1996, he started in the kitchen. After 5 years, he moved to other establishments to gain a greater experience of fine dining restaurants.
In 2005, with the knowledge he had gained, Maurizio returned to contribute as the manager who transformed this restaurant into an exquisite and fine dining experience.
As of October 2013, he realized his dream of owning a restaurant and purchased the establishment he helped to create, previously known as Vigilucci.
Thanks to the cooperation and support of the Bussolari’s Family, from Bologna, the dream called Maurizio Trattoria Italiana did start and grow up fast.
